 Howdy! Howdy! Howdy! (Which, by the way, I think is the best way to greet someone).

My name’s Carey. If you’re reading this that means you know me in some capacity (good or bad) so thanks for dropping by my little area of this earth.

I love God. He’s brought forgiveness & grace into my life. He’s blessed me in ways that I’m only beginning to realize. He reminds me that I’m a work in progress & will be for a LONG TIME! I know everyone says they’ve got the BEST family, but I TRULY do! Even though nobody can tick me off quite like them (and I to them), I wouldn’t want to be stuck with anybody else but them. I’ve got great, loyal friends that I can cry with, laugh with, & don’t make fun of me when I talk about my Little House on the Prairie obsession. (well don’t make fun of me TOO much, anyways).

I love to travel. I love horses & country living. I love to read & ice-cold red wine. I love the outdoors & feel closest to God hiking in the woods, lost in my own thoughts. I love animals & my moody cat, Sundae. I love blueberries & tomatoes (and if you have a reciepe that includes both…don’t be stingy, pass it on). I love to laugh & nothing cracks me up quicker than corny jokes (picture the kind that an 8yr old would tell). If I’m indoors to long, or the sun doesn’t shine for days I get very cranky! I’m addicted to chapstick (literally, I go through a tube a week)-I’ve embraced the addiction and have a love/love relationship with it. I love to talk & smile.
